Read all safety warnings, instructions, illustrations and
specifications provided with this product. Failure to follow all
instructions listed below may result in death and/or serious injury.
This non-vented, Type I Class G hard hat meets the requirements
of ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2014, and it provides limited electrical
protection.
This hard hat protects the top of the head from small falling
objects and debris. It does NOT provide side, front, or rear impact
protection. It does NOT protect against large objects or objects
falling at high speeds.
Keep the hard hat clean. Clean hard hat and suspension with warm
soapy water. Rinse and let dry completely.
Inspect the hard hat prior to each use. Do not use the hard hat if
it has been damaged or received a sharp blow.
Do not use this hard hat if it does not fit snuggly or if the
suspension does not adjust and lock securely.
Do not place anything between the suspension and the top of
the hard hat. To provide adequate protection, there must be space
between the top of the head and the top of the hard hat. Filling that
space will reduce impact protection.
Do not store hard hat in direct sunlight or in an area of extreme
heat or cold.
Do not stack or store heavy objects on the hard hat.
Do not attempt to modify this product or create accessories not
recommended for use with this product. Any such alteration or
modification is misuse and could reduce the amount of protection
provided.
Use this hard hat in accordance with these instructions and
in the manner intended. This hard hat is not intended for use in
sports, recreation or vehicles.
Do not use hard hat in the presence of an open flame.
Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
ASSEMBLING/ADJUSTING HARD HAT
See Figures 1 - 4.
Before installing the suspension, determine if you want the hard hat
to sit higher or lower on your head.
Locate the four tabs around the suspension. Rotate the tabs
horizontally to insert and remove them from a slot. Once inserted,
rotate the tabs vertically to lock them in place.
Insert all of the suspension tabs into the top slots to lower the
suspension and raise the hard hat or insert them into the bottom
slots to raise the suspension and lower the hard hat.
Turn hard hat and suspension upside down.
Align tabs on the suspension with the slots in the hat. Push tabs
down until they "click" into the slots. Gently pull on the suspension
to make sure it is securely locked in place.
NOTE: The knob should face the back of the hat.
Place the hat on your head at a 90˚ angle.
NOTE: If the hat sits too high or too low, remove the suspension
and change the position of the tabs.
With the hat on your head, press the knob in and then turn the knob
clockwise to tighten the suspension or counterclockwise to loosen
it.
To test the fit of the hat, tilt your head side to side and lean forwards
and backwards. The hat should remain snug against your head and
it shouldn't shift as you move.
