Operation
BEFORE USE
1. Never use the barbecue indoors; it is meant to be used outdoors.
2. Place the barbecue in a secure location. Do not place it next to bushes or under trees. Set it on a flat
surface only.
3. Keep the unit out of the reach of children.
4. To start the fire, put a small amount of charcoal in a pyramid at the center of the unit. Place some paper
and small light sticks.
Never light the charcoal using liquid fuels. Doing so can cause the flame to leap and can
contaminate the food while cooking.
5. When the charcoal begins to glow, more pieces can be added to obtain the desired temperature. When the
coals are covered by a thin layer of grey ash, the unit is ready for cooking.
6. In case the fire flares up without control due to dripping fat, the flames must be extinguished by means of a
small spray of water, or some sprinkled sand or salt.
7. Do not remove the ash drawer until the live coals are completely extinguished.
8. Always pay attention while the barbecue is lit, if it were knocked over during operation it will cause damage
and possibly death.
9. Do not light during windy days, ensure the unit is protected from the wind as best as possible to prevent
flare ups.
Attention: Ensure all embers are extinguished before leaving the barbecue to fully cool down.
DO NOT LEAVE THE BARBECUE OUT IN THE RAIN OR SNOW.
