Intended Use
The Hygeia Manual Hand Pump adapter is intended to be used by lactating women to
express and collect milk from their breasts when properly connected to the Hygeia
personal accessory set flange and bottle.
Preparation
Follow these cleaning instructions unless you are told otherwise by your healthcare
professional. Prior to cleaning, take apart all of the parts of your Hygeia Manual Hand pump
Adapter for cleaning.
Providing breast milk is one of the best things you can do for your baby's health and
development. Pumping your milk is one way to provide breast milk to your baby. However,
germs can grow quickly in breast milk or breast milk residue that remains on pump parts.
Following these steps can keep your breast pump clean and help protect your baby from these
germs. If your baby was born prematurely or has other health concerns, your baby's health
care providers may have more recommendations for pumping breast milk safely.

Always wash your hands well with soap and water for 20 seconds before each use.
After Each Use:
CLEANING:
1. Disassemble the product in the reverse order of assembly for cleaning or sterilization
2. To prevent bacterial infection, please clean the product immediately with warm water
and a mild soap after each use.
3. Use a sponge and mild dish soap for storage container for cleaning, so as to prevent
damage or scratches.
