IMPORTANT SAFETY RULES
Read this manual completely.
1) Serious injury or death can occur if safety instructions are not followed.
Everyone using the log splitter must fully read and understand all safety
rules, operating instructions and maintenance instructions.
You must be 16 years of age or older to use this machine. Keep untrained
people away.
- Turn off the engine before leaving the log cracker unattended.
2)Danger of crushing.
The blade can cut the skin and break the bones. Keep both hands away
from the blade and end plate.
- Serious accidents can occur when other people are in the work area. Keep
everyone else out of the work area while operating the control valve.
- Do not wear loose clothing. It can get tangled in moving parts of your log
splitter.
- Only use your cracker in daylight so you can see perfectly what you are
doing.
3) Objects thrown by the air.
Pieces of logs can fly off as they split. Wear safety glasses. Serious eye
injuries can occur.
4.) Danger of injection into the skin.
High-pressure fluid can be injected under the skin and lead to serious
injury, including amputation.
- Make sure all accessories are tight before applying pressure.
- Do not check for leaks by hand. Instead, use a piece of cardboard to check
for leaks.
- If an injection occurs in the skin, seek immediate "surgical treatment".
