2 Vacuum packing canisters

There are diff erent ways of vacuum packing these canisters as follows:

2.1 Vacuum packing using vacuum packing devices

Our CASO VacuBoxx Inox XL canisters can be vacuum packed with all commercially
available vacuum packing devices with a hose connector. For this, please also refer

to the operating instructions of your vacuum generator.
A suitable adapter (e.g. vacuum pump and adapter, item 1178), which can be placed

on the vacuum hose of the vacuum generator, or a hose incl. adapter (included in

item 1177 / 1258), is also required. To do so, please connect the vacuum hose to the
device and the adapter to the vacuum canister valve.

For an optimal vacuum, please make sure that all components are fi rmly atta-
ched to the following points during the vacuuming process:
Hose connection on the vacuum generator, hose on the connection, connection
on the adapter, adapter on the valve on the container lid.
PLEASE NOTE
When using a chamber vacuum packing device, canisters only require 5 seconds
to become suffi ciently evacuated. Please abort the vacuum packing process early
to ensure your canister is not damaged. Please proceed with caution to prevent
damage!
