BEFORE INITIAL USE
READ THE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE FIRST USE
1.
Remove and discard any packaging, sticker, or promotional labels/materials before first use.
2.
Thoroughly clean both sides of the reversible die-cast aluminum plate with hot, soapy
water or place in the dishwasher. Dry thoroughly.
3.
DO NOT immerse the stainless-steel base or heating coil in water or any other liquid.
If needed, wipe the stainless-steel base with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
4.
Install the reversible die-cast aluminum plate onto the base by aligning with base and handles
supports. Ensure silicone protective guards are securely installed to prevent plate from scratching.
5.
Ensure the socket and electrical pins are completely dry before using.
NOTE: During first use of the appliance, smoke and/or a slight odour may occur from the appliance.
This is normal and will quickly disappear. It will not reoccur after appliance has been used a few
more times.
HOW TO USE ON BASE
READ THE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE
WARNING: Ensure the reversible grill/griddle is unplugged from the electrical outlet and allow it
to cool before handling or cleaning it.
WARNING: DO NOT touch hot surfaces. Always use the appliance's handles. Use protective oven
mitts or gloves to avoid burns or serious personal injury.
NOTE: Never use metal utensils such as forks, knives, mashers, beaters, or food choppers with
this appliance, as they will scratch the non-stick surface. Only use plastic, rubber, wooden, or
silicone cooking utensils.
1.
Place appliance on a flat, stable, heat resistant surface.
2.
Attach the temperature control dial to the socket by aligning the electrical pins in the socket
with the electrical pinholes in the temperature control dial, and then slide the dial into
position on the base.

When ready to use, lightly coat the entire cooking surface with cooking oil or shortening
and wipe with a paper towel. Repeat as necessary for a longer-lasting non-stick surface.
NOTE: Ensure silicone protective guards are securely installed to prevent plate from
scratching and/or uneven the cooking surface.
4.
Plug the power cord into a standard 120-volt AC electrical outlet.
5.
Set the temperature control dial to the desired cooking temperature. The LED indicator will
illuminate, indicating the appliance is heating.

When the LED indicator turns off, the appliance has reached the selected temperature.
Place food on the reversible die-cast aluminum plate.
NOTE: The cooking plate is oven safe up to 450 °F / 230 °C, as cooking at high
temperatures may cause discoloration or shorten the life of the non-stick surface.
NOTE: Due to the initial heating of the materials used in the manufacturing of the appliance,
some light smoke/vapors may be released when used for the first time. This is normal.
7.
Use the ribbed or flat side to cook small strips of meat/chicken and vegetables.
NOTE: Always allow the appliance to cool down completely before turning the reversible
die-cast aluminum plate. Never flip the plate over while it is still hot. Make sure both sides
of the cooking plate are clean before use.
8.
Once cooking is complete, set the temperature control dial to the OFF position and then unplug
the power cord from the electrical outlet. Allow the appliance to cool down completely.
9.
Unplug the power cord from the standard 120-volt AC electrical outlet.
10.
To detach the temperature control dial, firmly pull away from the female connector.
WARNING: Always unplug the appliance when not in use or when it will be left unattended.
CAUTION: Use extreme caution when moving/handling the appliance when it is hot.
HOW TO USE IN/ON STOVE OR BBQ
READ THE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE
WARNING: This reversible die-cast aluminum plate is oven safe up to 450 °F / 230 °C.
WARNING: BBQ safe. When grilling always keep the lid open. After use, always remove the
reversible die-cast aluminum plate from BBQ.
NOTE: Never use metal utensils such as forks, knives, mashers, beaters, or food choppers with
this appliance, as they will scratch the non-stick surface. Only use plastic, rubber, wooden, or
silicone cooking utensils.

Place the reversible die-cast aluminum plate on a flat, stable and horizontal surface in/on stove
and BBQ.
2.
When ready to use, lightly coat the entire cooking surface with cooking oil or shortening
and wipe with a paper towel. Repeat as necessary for a longer-lasting non-stick surface.
3.
Set the temperature to the desired cooking temperature. Ensure the temperature is not
exceeding 450 °F / 230 °C.
NOTICE: DO NOT cook foods at a higher temperature, as cooking at high temperatures
may cause discoloration or shorten the life of the non-stick surface.
4.
Use the ribbed or flat side to cook small strips of meat/chicken, proteins and vegetables.
NOTE: Always allow the reversible die-cast aluminum plate to cool down completely before
turning the reversible die-cast aluminum plate. Never flip the reversible plate over while it
is still hot. Make sure both sides of the reversible plate are clean before use.
CAUTION: This reversible die-cast aluminum plate will become extremely hot when in use.
To avoid burn hazard, always use potholders or oven mitts.
NOTE: The grease will accumulate on the reversible die-cast aluminum plate; handle
with caution as the grease run-off is very hot. Empty only when the reversible die-cast
aluminum plate has completely cooled down.
5.
Once cooking is complete. Allow the reversible die-cast aluminum plate to cool down completely.
