Installation
Note: A bracket is used to support the door
during transportation. On receipt please
remove the bracket.
Note: Not for use in vans or trailers, food
trucks or similar vehicles.
Note: If the unit has not been stored or
moved in an upright position, let it stand
upright for approximately 12 hours before
operation. If in doubt allow to stand.
1. Remove the appliance from the packaging.
Make sure that all protective plastic film and
coatings are thoroughly removed from all
surfaces.
2. To optimize performance and longevity, ensure
a minimum clearance of 2.5cm is maintained
between the unit and walls and other objects,
with a minimum 20cm clearance on the top.
NEVER LOCATE NEXT TO A HEAT SOURCE.
Note: Before using the appliance for the
first time, clean the shelves and interior
with soapy water then dry well.
3. Set the brakes on the castors to keep the
appliance in position.
Lock/Unlock the Doors
A lock is fitted to the doors to ensure foodstuffs
are kept secure within your POLAR appliance.
Use the keys provided to lock/unlock the doors.

Fitting the Waste Water Tray
The waste water tray comes ready to fit to the
underside of the appliance. Slide the tray into the
runners situated under the appliance.
Ensure that the water drainage hose coming from
the water evaporation pan is placed inside the
plastic pan as shown in the picture:

Check periodically if the waste water tray under
the cabinet is full. If full empty the water tray.
Fitting the Shelves & Floor Guards
1. Slide the shelves into place.
2. Place the floor guards on the floor of the
cabinet, ensuring the flat side is clear of the
floor.
Note: This is vital for ensuring correct
drainage of condensation. If this is done
incorrectly, your appliance may get wet
and/or freeze on the bottom. In the event
of a complaint, this is not covered by the
warranty.
