6. Safety Instructions

To prevent any risk of fire or explosion:
Do not smoke near the device.
Do not use near sources of ignition.
Do not allow the device to come into contact with greasy products.
Do not handle the device with oily hands.
Do not disconnect a device if it is under pressure.

Do not restrict or block the outlet of the medical device.

Do not use the flow outlet to operate any medical equipment.

Influence of pressure: Important: check the supply pressure of the device. If the inlet pressure is not within the
range indicated on the device, the flow may exceed the authorised standard range.

Influence of temperature: Important: changes in ambient temperature (between 0°C and 40°C) affect the accuracy
of the supplied flow rates.

Do not disconnect the inlet or outlet fittings of the device.

There is no indication showing the passage of gas on this type of device.

The flow rate should be regulated on a snap-on position. Do not position the regulation knob between two flow
rates.
7. Cleaning and disinfecting

Disconnect the device from the gas supply. Clean the outside of the device with a clean, slightly damp cloth. Leave
the device to dry. If disinfectants are used, check their compatibility with the plastic used (refer to the technical
sheet).

Do not immerse.

Do not use a surface disinfectant.
8. Storage
Between -20 and +60°C in a clean and dry area.
If possible, store it in its packaging.
9. Maintenance
No preventive maintenance is required.
Only a person authorised by Technologie Médicale may dismantle the device.
Technologie Médicale recommends an annual check of the device:
Verify that the device is properly connected to the wall-mounted outlet or to the outlet of the pressure
regulator.
Check that the gas flows correctly at every flow selection position.
Ensure that there is no leakage when the knob is in the 0 position.
10. Warranty
The device is guaranteed for 1 year, parts and labour included. The warranty does not cover damage or accidents
caused due to negligence, defective use, and lack of surveillance or maintenance.

In accordance with the European Directive 93/42/EEC dated 14 June 1993, any incident
or risk of incident must immediately be reported to TECHNOLOGIE MEDICALE.
