1.- 5 V DC (optional): power connection for the supplied 5 V DC, 2 A power adapter. The receiving device
can be powered via the data cable via PoC, use a power adapter if the signal is not stable due to the
length of the data cable.
2.- OUTPUT: AV signal output for connection of devices such as TV, projectors, etc. HDMI connector.
3.- IR IN: connection port for remote control extension receiver (RX), 3.5 mm jack connector.
4.- EQ: equalization button that makes adjustments to the received signal based on the length of the data
cable.
5.- CAT 6: data cable connection port for signal reception between transmitter and receiver, RJ45 connector.
Supports PoC (Power over cable) to power the receiver through the same cable. The orange LED lights
up when there is a valid HDMI signal input. The green LED lights up when there is a power supply.
6.- LINK: connection status indicator light between transmitter and receiver The led will flash when it
detects poor connection, otherwise it will remain fixed.
CONNECTION
IMPORTANT: it is recommended to use quality HDMI cables, of the strictly necessary length and avoiding
large lengths so that there is no noticeable loss in the signal. High quality Cat 6 cables with FTP/SFTP
shielding are recommended. Cables should have shielded connectors with the cable shielding connected
to the connector shield. This improves the reliability of the HDMI extenders, avoiding ground loops caused
by interconnecting devices (player/receiver and TV) with different ground reference which may cause loss
or break-up of the picture.
- Make connections with all equipment turned off.
- Connect the HDMI signal source to the INPUT of the transmitter.
- Connect OUTPUTs to monitors, TVs and/or projectors using HDMI cable.
- Connect the data cable between transmitter and receiver. Up to 50 m for 1080p resolution with Cat 6
cable.
- Optional - Connect the remote control extenders by pointing the TX at the IR receiver of your player and
the RX at the place where you want to control the player from your remote control.
- Connect the power and turn on the equipment. First the sources, then the extension and finally the
equipment connected to the outputs.
- Set the desired EDID resolution and press the RESET button on the transmitter to save the new EDID
confirmation.
NOTE: for the EDID configuration where the EDID information from the connected monitor is copied to
the transmitter's loop OUTPUT, you must set the EDID configuration to 011, then connect the monitor to
this input, and finally press the transmitter's RESET button. The signal configuration set at this time shall
be maintained even if this device is no longer connected to the loop output until the EDID configuration is
changed or RESET is pressed again.
- If you have any problems with the signal display, reset both devices by pressing the RESET button on
both devices.
