IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed,
including the following:

Do not touch hot surfaces, it will cause burns to hands or limbs . Use handles or knobs .

To protect against risk of electric shock, do not immerse or partially immerse the
cord, plugs, or the entire unit in water or any other liquid .
4 .
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety .

Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children .
6 .
Unplug from wall outlet when not in use and before cleaning . Allow to cool before
putting on or taking off parts.
7 .
Never yank the cord to disconnect the appliance from the outlet, it could damage
the cord . Instead, grasp the plug and pull to disconnect .
8 .
Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance
malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner . Return appliance to the nearest
authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment .
9 .
The use of accessories attachments not recommended by the appliance
manufacturer may cause fire, electrical shock or injuries.
10 . Do not use outdoors . This is for household only .

Do not use for commercial purposes .
12 . Use only on a level, dry and heat-resistant surface .
13 . Do not let cord touch hot surfaces or hang over the edge of a counter or table .
14 . Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven .
15 . Do not use the appliance for other than its intended use .
16 . Extreme caution must be used when moving the appliance containing hot oil or
other liquids .
17 . Do not touch, cover or obstruct the steam valve on the top of the rice cooker as it is
extremely hot and may cause scalding .
18 . Use only with a 120V AC power outlet .
19. Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet.
To disconnect, turn any control to "off", then remove plug from wall outlet.
20 . The rice cooker should be operated on a separate electrical circuit from other
operating appliances . If the electric circuit is overloaded with other appliances, this
appliance may not operate properly .
21 . Always make sure the outside of the inner pot is dry prior to use . If the inner pot is
returned to cooker when wet, it may damage or cause the product to malfunction .
22 . Use extreme caution when opening the lid during or after cooking . Hot steam will
escape and may cause scalding .
23. The rice should not be left in the rice cooker with the "Keep-Warm" function ON for
more than 3 hours .
24 . To prevent damage or deformation, do not use the inner pot on a stovetop or
burner .
25 . To disconnect, remove the plug from the wall outlet .
26 . To reduce the risk of electric shock, cook only in the removable container provided .
