3. ASSEMBLY
Always mount the device with the supplied
accessories.
Do not overtighten any of the locking or
adjustment knobs. This will result in indue
stress to the fitting.
Before starting the installation, take the following
into consideration:
• Place the device on a firm, level surface.
• The device must be mounted so that there is 50
cm of free space between the heater and any
ceiling, tent canvas etc. The device may never
be hung at an angle!
• Ensure that the power supply cable is well
mounted and that it does not come into contact
with reflector of the heater or that does not trail
into heated area.
• Do not install the heater near an inflammable
surface.
• If the heater is to be used outside, a weather-
proof outlet is highly recommended.
Setting up the stand (Fig. A, B)
1. Take the baseplate (5) and put it on its side. To
protect it against damage, put the cardboard
box packaging underneath.
2. Whilst holding the baseplate (5), mount the
upper pole (3) onto the baseplate using the
washers (7), spring washers (8) and bolts (9) as
shown on figure B.
3. Now mount the feet (10) by screwing them into
the threaded holes underneath the baseplate
(5) as shown on figure B.
4. Loosen the upper pole locking knob (4) and lift
the upper pole (3) to the desired height.
5. Now tighten the upper pole locking knob (4).

Assembling the heater onto the stand
(Fig. A, C, D, E)
1. Using the screws (11), mount the 2 mounting
brackets (1) onto the holes of the heater, as
shown on figure C.
2. Put the heater with the assembled brackets on
the top of the heater stand, as shown on figure D.
3. Whilst holding the heater, assemble and tighten
the angle adjustment knob (2) as shown on
figure D.
4. Figure E shows a correctly assembled mounting
bracket assembly.
4. OPERATION
Do not overtighten any of the locking or
adjustment knobs. This will result in indue
stress to the fitting.
Adjusting the height with assembled heater (Fig. A)
Note: for optimal safety, this may be performed by
two persons.
1. Whilst holding the heater, loosen the upper pole
locking knob (4).
2. Move the upper pole (3) to the desired height.
3. Now release the heater and tighten the upper
pole locking knob (4).
5. MAINTENANCE
Handle the stand with care. Inspect bolted assem-
blies regularly. Maintain only in unloaded mode.
Cleaning
Clean the regularly with a soft cloth, preferably
after each use. Make sure that openings are free
of dust and dirt. Remove very persistent dirt using
a soft cloth moistened with soapsuds. Do not use
any solvents such as gasoline, alcohol, ammonia,
etc. Chemicals such as these will damage the
synthetic components.
• DO NOT use alcohol, gasoline, abrasive pow-
ders, furniture polish or rough brushes to clean
the heater. This may cause damage or deteri-
oration to the surface of the heater.
• DO NOT immerse the stand in water.
• Wait until the stand is completely dry before
use.
