Set the FUNCTION
switch to CD.
OPE/BATT
indicator turns on. O is displayed
in the TRACK display.
Open the disc compartment.
Place a disc in the center with the label side up and close
the disc compartment.
Total number of tracks on the disc is displayed
in the TRACK display.
Press the
11PLAY/PAUSE
button to start CD play.
Track number is displayed
in the TRACK display.
Adjust the volume and tone.
Basic operation
Press the following
buttons.
To stop
STOP button
To pause
IE PLAY/PAUSE
button
To resume play, press the button again.
After listening
Set the FUNCTION
switch to POWER OFF/TAPE.
About AUTO LOUDNESS
At low volumes,
the high and low frequencies
sound
faint.

function automatically
emphasizes
these frequencies,
for
the powerful
sound even at low volumes.
