MODULE CONNECTION:
• Open the rear hatch. Locate the plastic screw covers that are covering the taillight mounting screws. Using a trim
panel tool or screwdriver, carefully remove the covers. Be careful not to break mounting tabs. Using a Phillips
screwdriver, remove the mounting screws on both driver's side and passenger side (2 per side). Carefully pull the
taillight away from the vehicle exposing the vehicle's taillight wiring harness. Repeat process for passenger side.
• Locate the taillight wiring connectors on both driver's side and passenger side matching the ends of the T-One®
Connector. Disconnect the vehicle wiring harness from both taillight sockets being careful not to break the locking
tabs, set taillights aside.
• Beginning on the driver's side and underneath the vehicle, route the harness containing the yellow wire up through
the opening between the vehicle bumper and body to the driver's side taillight pocket.
NOTE
For ease of installation use a fish wire between taillight pocket and rear fascia to pull harness from underneath
vehicle out through the taillight pocket.
• Locate the connectors matching the end of the T-One® Connector. Insert the T-One® Connector end containing the
yellow wire in between the vehicle and taillight connector. All connector's surfaces should be clean and free of dirt.
• Underneath the vehicle, determine a suitable mounting point behind the rear bumper fascia on the driver's side.
Mount the black box using the double-sided tape or Cable Tie provided in the hardware kit.
NOTE
Clean flat mount surface area using a 50-50 mixture of rubbing alcohol and water to mount lighting module black
box.
Make sure lighting module is mounted so that the epoxy side of the module is pointed towards the ground to
prevent any water buildup.
• Locate a suitable grounding point near the black box such as an existing ground stud or drill a 3/32" hole and secure
the white wire using the eyelet and screw provided. (Do not drill into vehicle floor or bed.) Clean dirt and
rustproofing from area.
• Verify what is behind any surface prior to drilling to avoid damage to the vehicle and/or personal injury. Do not drill
into any exposed surfaces.
• Route harness containing the green wire to the passenger side. Route down and underneath the vehicle, up through
the opening between the vehicle bumper and body to the passenger's side taillight pocket.
• If routing the wire thru a grommet and along the exterior of the vehicle, be careful to avoid any hot pipes, heat
shields, the fuel tank or any other points that may pinch or break the wire.
NOTE
For ease of installation use a fish wire between taillight pocket and rear fascia to pull harness from underneath
vehicle out through the taillight pocket.
• In the passenger's side taillight pocket. Locate the connector matching the end of the T-One® Connector. Insert
the T-One® Connector end containing the green wire in between the vehicle and taillight connectors. All connectors

surfaces should be clean and free of dirt.
• Locate the vehicles reverse function either located in the rear bumper fascia or in the rear taillight assembly. Using a
test light locate the reverse function in the vehicle's light assembly. Route the blue 18 GA wire to the corresponding
reverse function. Connect the 18 Ga blue wire with supplied wire tap.
