Torque Adjustment
This drill has 23 variable torque
settings, indicated and contro-
lled by the numbers on the tor-
que adjustment ring:
Rotate the torque adjustment ring clockwise to increa-
se the output torque.
Rotate the torque adjustment ring anticlockwise to de-
crease the output torque.
NOTE! You must place the desired torque setting num-
ber on the adjustment ring in line with the arrow on
the gear housing. A bigger number indicates a higher
torque setting.
NOTE! The drilling modes " " and " " are permanently
set to the highest torque setting, so the torque adjust-
ment ring do not work for this two modes. The torque
adjustment ring (23 torque settings) only applies when
using the drill as a screwdriver.
OPERATION
Turning On/Off
To turn it on, slowly depress the trigger switch.
To increase speed, increase the pressure on the trigger
switch. To turn it off, fully release the trigger switch.
Speed Adjustment
Push the speed selector forward to select the hi-
gh-speed setting.
Pull the speed selector backwards to select the low-
speed setting.

Metal/Wood Drilling
1. Turn the functional conversion ring to the normal
drilling mode " ".
2. Begin drilling at a very low speed to prevent the bit
from slipping off the starting point, increasing the
speed as the drill bit bites into the material.
3. Drill with a small bit at first, finishing with a larger
bit while drilling large holes in metal surfaces.
4. When drilling wood, place a block of wood behind
the work piece while drilling through holes to pre-
vent ragged or splintered edges on the backside
of the hole.
Masonry Drilling
1. Turn the functional conversion ring to the impact
drilling mode " ".
2. Apply light pressure and medium speed for best
results in brick.
3. Apply additional pressure and high speed for hard
materials such as concrete.
4. When drilling in tile, practice on a scrap piece to
determine the best speed and pressure.
MAINTENANCE
• Always be sure that the tool is switched off and
the battery pack is removed from the tool before
attempting to perform inspection or maintenance.
• Regularly clean the tool's air vents with compres-
sed dry air. Do not attempt to clean by inserting
pointed objects through openings.
