Safety instructions
- For your own safety, do not assemble alone. For safety reasons, we recommend that two people
carry out the installation.
- Keep children and pets away from assembly points.
- Some parts may have SHARP EDGES. If necessary, wear protective gloves during the assembly pro-
cess.
- Basic precautions must be taken when assembling and using this product to limit the risk of injury
and material damage.
- The blinds are intended for sun protection only. They must not be used in strong winds, rain, hail or
snow. In such conditions, retract the awning immediately.

Choice of location
- Blinds should be installed at least 250 cm high only on a reinforced concrete or solid brick wall. If in
doubt, don't hesitate to ask for professional help.
- If your wall is cracked or has an external envelope (insulation, double brick wall, brick cladding), ins-
tallation should be carried out by a professional.
- Make sure that the wall/ceiling is flat, so that the bracket is securely fixed.
- If you want to fit the awning over a balcony door, you must leave a gap of at least 20 cm above the
door frame.
- Be sure to take the drop height into account when deciding where to install your awning. The drop
angle can still be changed after installation. However, the ideal drop angle has already been set at the
factory and can only be altered slightly.

- We recommend that the front pole of the awning should be at least 250 cm high when fully
extended.
- if local conditions do not allow it, you can erect the awning in a lower position. The horizontal axis
passing through the lower drill holes must be 60 cm higher than the axis of the front pole in order to
comply with the minimum angle of inclination of 14°.
- If you wish to fit the awning over a balcony door, you must leave a space of at least 20 cm above the
door frame.
- Once you've chosen the mounting position, you can mark where you need to drill the holes for the
brackets. Draw a horizontal line at the height of the required location. Use a tape measure, level
and chalk. We've already indicated where and how wide the brackets should be. Measure the width
between the brackets and transfer this to the line on your wall/ceiling.
- We recommend that the front bar of the awning should be at least 250 cm high, with a total drop A of
at least 60 cm. If the height of the front bar is 250 cm, the height of the centre line through the lower
drill holes is 310 cm.
- Once you have chosen the mounting position, you can mark where you need to drill the holes for
the brackets. Draw a horizontal line at the height of the required location. Use a tape measure, level
and chalk. We've already indicated where and how wide the brackets should be. Measure the width
between the brackets and transfer it to the line drawn on your wall/ceiling.
- Use the template to mark the centre of the bracket by passing a marker through the holes in the
brackets. You can also use the packaging to make a central marking template. Simply place the awning
and its supports on the packaging and mark the drill holes. Then hold the template against the wall at
the corresponding height. Use a level.
