6. Startup and Operation
+ The headphone amplifier comes with a built-in
lithium-polymer rechargeable battery.
* Charge the HA202 headphone amplifier
completely before initial use.
Switching on:
Use the on/off switch (11) to switch on the HA202.
(| = On /0 = Off)
Please note that the on/off switch must be in the
"On" switch position during charging.
If the HA202 is not going to be used for extended
periods, always switch it off using the on/off
switch to prevent the integrated rechargeable
batteries from spontaneously discharging.
Charging the battery:
+ Connect the micro USB connection (6) to a
standard USB connection (e.g. notebook, PC) or
an appropriate USB charging device using the
included USB cable.
* A complete charging cycle takes approximately
2.5 hours. The LED (10) lights up green during
the charging process. As soon as the battery
is fully charged, the green LED light goes out
automatically.
The LED (1) flashes every time you turn the device
on and off if the battery only has 10% charge
remaining. Charge the HA202 as soon as possible.
Connect:
* Connect your mobile terminal device (MP3 player,
mobile phone, etc.) and the audio input IN (7) of
the HA202 using the included 3.5 mm audio cable.
+ The headphone amplifier automatically switches
into standby mode due to the Auto ON/OFF
function. The status LED (1) is now blue.
+ Connect your headphones/headset to the audio
output (2) of the HA202.
Start playback:
+ At first, keep the volume setting of the HA202
ow. Use the volume up + button (3) or the volume
down - button (4), The status LED flashes when the
volume is being adjusted. The LED stops flashing
when you've reached the minimum or maximum
volume level.
Reduce the volume of the audio device to around
75%. You can increase the volume later as needed.
Start playback on your terminal device.
Switch the HA202 off again after using it either
by unplugging the 3.5 mm jack cable from the
audio input IN (7) or by pressing the Power ON/
OFF button (5).

Always keep the volume at a
reasonable level. Loud volumes,
even over short periods, can
cause hearing loss.
7. Equalizer function for sound adjustment
Using the HA202 equalizer, you can adjust the sound
of your playback device based on your individual
requirements. Press the equalizer button (8)
repeatedly to select the different sound modes.
The active sound mode is indicated by the LED (9).
