SIMPLIFIED STARTING INSTRUCTIONS
These simplified instructions do not replace or invalidate the careful and proper
reading of the full instruction manual.
• Add oil 15W40, 10W40 or SAE30 to the engine and check the level with the oil
dipstick
• To turn on the battery: first, connect the positive terminal; then, connect the
negative terminal (of the ground terminal)
• Add gasoline in the fuel tank
• Open the fuel tamp vent
• The operator must be sitting down
• The brakes, on the left side, must be pushed (and steady)
• The switch to activate the blades must be turned to "OFF" (0)
• The throttle lever must be turned up (to close the air of the carburetor)
• The moving pedals (R/F) on the right must be turned to "Neutral"
• Turn the ignition key
• The engine will start
• Lower the throttle lever to the "rabbit" position
•• TRACTION
• Block the traction
• Pull the lever located on the lower center outwards, on the back side of the tractor If
you push the lever inwards, the traction will be unlocked; this mode is meant to unlock
the tractor while the engine is stopped
•• STARTING THE BLADES
• Place the collection bag
• In order for the blades to work, the collection bag must be placed correctly
• Turn the switch on the right side of the wheel to "ON" (1)
• In reverse, the blades will stop
• To mow your lawn in reverse, you must push the pushbutton on the right, next to
the back of the tractor
• To stop the tractor, turn the key to "OFF"
• Close the fuel tamp vent
•• VERY IMPORTANT - BATTERY MAINTENANCE
• When the tractor is stored during a long period of time, you must completely charge
the battery once every two months.
