CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning, ensure that the appliance is turned off and
unplugged. Allow it to cool down.
Wipe the surface of the appliance with a slightly damp cloth.
Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
Never use chemical or abrasive cleaning agents.
Descaling
You can use the self-clean function to remove scale and impurities.
It is recommended to use the self-clean function once every two
weeks. If the water in your area is very hard and the self-clean
function should be used more frequently.
1. Fill the water tank to the maximum level.
2. Plug in the appliance and turn the main switch on.
3. Set the temperature control dial to the "max" position.
4. When the indicator light stops flashing, hold the iron horizontally
over a container, keep pressing the cleaning button and gently
shake the iron forward and back.
5. When all of the water and steam come out of the vents of the
soleplate, turn off the appliance and then unplug it from the
mains socket.
6. Clean the soleplate of the iron when it is cool with a damp cloth
or non-abrasive sponge.
Emptying and storing
If the appliance is not going to be used for a long time, empty the
water tank.
Place the iron on the iron rest of the appliance and lock it into place.
Wrap the power cord and steam supply cord loosely in loops. Avoid
kinking of cables.
