•
Keep a safe distance from people or animals and switch off the pump if animals are
approaching.
3.2 ELECTRICAL SAFETY
•
The pump should not be run while people are in the pool or pond.
•
The mains voltage at your location must comply with the mains voltage information in
the technical data. Do not use any other mains voltage.
•
The device may only be used in electrical equipment according to DIN/VDE 0100, parts
737, 738 and 702. A 10 A circuit breaker must be installed to protect the fuse.
•
Only use extension cords designed for outdoor use - minimum cross-section 3 x 1.5 mm2,
quality of H07RN-F according to DIN 57282/57245- with splash-proof socket. Always
unwind the cable coils completely.
•
Check the condition of your extension cord before each use.
4. INSTALLATION
4.1 INSTALLING THE PUMP
5)
Prepare a level and sturdy installation site.
6)
Install the pump horizontally in a location that cannot be flooded.
7)
If necessary, bolt the pump to the bolting points. Protect the pump from rain and direct
water jets.
8)
Remove the protective cap from the thread on the inlet and outlet of the pump.
Keep the protective caps for possible transport.
IMPORTANT Danger of flooding! In the event of a pump malfunction, water may
flow out and cause flood damage
•
In the event of a pump malfunction, take appropriate measures to prevent flood damage.
4.2 CONNECTING THE SUCTION LINE
NOTE We recommend installing flexible piping at the pump inlet to prevent
mechanical stress or strain being exerted on the pump.
1) Select the length of the suction line so that the pump cannot dry run. The suction line
must always be at least 30 cm deep.
2) Connect the suction pipe. Make sure that the connection is tight, but be careful not to
damage the thread.
3) Always rest the suction line on an upward slope.
NOTE If the suction height is greater than 4m, a suction hose with a diameter
greater than 1" must be installed. We recommend using a suction unit with suction
hose, suction filter and backflow stop. Please contact your specialist dealer.
4.3 INSTALLING THE PRESSURE LINE
Attach the pressure pipe to the pump outlet.
Open all shut-off devices in the pressure line (valves, spray nozzles, shut-off valves).
5. GETTING STARTED
5.1 FILLING THE PUMP
IMPORTANT! Danger of damage to the pump. Dry running will destroy the pump.
•
The pump must be filled with water up to the overflow before each use so that water
can be drawn off immediately.
NOTE Fill the suction hose with water before screwing it on to reduce the suction
time
.
1)
Open the filler screw.
