This symbol on the device or the package indicates that disposal of the device after its lifecycle could
harm the environment. Do not dispose of the unit (or batteries) as unsorted municipal waste; it should
be taken to a specialized company for recycling. This device should be returned to your distributor or to
a local recycling service. Respect the local environmental rules.
If in doubt, contact your local waste disposal authorities.

device was damaged in transit, do not install or use it and contact your dealer.

Safety Instructions

Use the appliance as described in this manual. The manufacturer is not responsible for any damage caused
by wrong use of the appliance.
The appliance is designed for domestic use only.
The appliance cannot be used for warming up animals or animal exhibitions.
Check the appliance for damages before use. Never use a damaged appliance. Repair of the appliance
should only be carried out by a qualified specialist.
Always check that the power supply corresponds to the voltage on the rating plate.
Keep children away from the appliance. Never let them work with electrical appliance without surveillance.
Protect children against any danger of the use of electrical appliances, watch out for struggling danger and
never let the children come near to the appliance.
Children or persons who lack the knowledge or experience to use the device or whose physical, sensory or
intellectual capacities are limited are not allowed to use the device without supervision or instructions by a
person who is responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they will not play
with the appliance.
Use the appliance only when it is correctly mounted to the ceiling.
WARNING: Do not touch the appliance when it is operating or shortly after use. Some parts of it will be
very hot. Let it cool down first.
Do not cover the appliance with clothing, towels, papers, curtains or other things that could be cause of
fire.
Do not use the appliance near inflammable or explosive materials, liquids or gasses.
Do not use the appliance near paper, towels, curtains, clothes or other things that could be cause of fire.
Avoid contact between the supply cord and the heater when it is operating. The heat could damage the
supply cord. Never use a damaged supply cord.
Never touch high-voltage parts.
Always keep the area of the power supply socket free when operating the appliance. You must always be
able to unplug the appliance immediately (in case of an emergency).
Do not use the appliance in humid rooms like bathrooms, swimming pools...
Never touch the appliance with wet hands.
Do not use this heater in small rooms when they are occupied by persons not capable of leaving the room
on their own, unless constant supervision is provided.
Never use a timer to switch the appliance on and off automatically.
Always unplug the appliance when it is not in use.
Avoid the use of an extension supply cord. The extension cord could be overheated. Risk of fire. If you must
use an extension cable, use a cord conform the appliance (minimum 3G x 1.0 mm²).
