REPLACING COLLETS
Collets are required for all accessories and require regular replacement when worn. Correctly functioning collets
stay stay tight at high speeds and maximum pressure.
• Unplug the rotary tool.
• Press and hold the shaft lock button (1), and rotate the shaft with the provided collet wrench (5) until the shaft
lock (1) engages the shaft, preventing further rotation.
• With the shaft lock (1) engaged, use the collet wrench (5) to loosen the collet nut (4).
• Remove the collet nut (4) and old collet (3).
• Insert the unslotted end of the new collet (3) in the hole in the end of the tool shaft.
• Tighten the collet nut (4) with the collet wrench (5).

INSTALLING ACCESSORIES
WARNING: Do not press the shaft lock button (1) while rotary tool is running.
• Unplug the rotary tool.
• Press and hold the shaft lock button (1), and rotate the shaft by hand until the shaft lock engages the shaft,
preventing further rotation.
• With the shaft lock button engaged, use the collet wrench (5) to loosen the collet nut (4).
• Insert the shank of the accessory into the collet as deep as possible. With the shaft lock (1) engaged, tighten
the collet nut (4) with the provided collet wrench (5) until the accessory shank is firmly gripped by the collet (3).
Avoid excess tightening of the collet nut (4).
REMOVING ACCESSORIES
• Unplug the rotary tool.
• With the shaft lock (1) engaged, loosen the collet nut (4) with the
provided collet wrench (5).
• Remove the accessory.
