Non-Contact Use

1 . Apply the reflective tape as close as possible to the outer
edge of the object to be measured .
2 . Hold the tachometer in your hand, and press "MEAS" button .
3 . Point the laser spot at the object, and read the
measurement on the primary display .
Note: A blinking
light source near
the target, such as
a fluorescent lamp,
may cause a false
reading and should
be avoided.
