INSTALLATION
1. Before you start disconnect the negative
cable from the battery. Tape up the end so it is
isolated from the battery.
2. Run an appropiate gauge wire from the
battery to the amplifier. Plan this part of the
installation carefully. This cable will carry very
high current. If it should short to the body and it
is not properly fused it could catch fire.

Connect the power wire to the battery using a
fuse capable of handling the total current load of all
amplifiers connected. Do not install the fuse at this
point. Wait until indicated. Position the fuse as
close as possible to the battery. If the distance from
the battery exceeds 18 inches (wire length), it is
advisable to reassess both the wire and fuse
placement.
4. Find the closest clear metal area to the amp
for a ground. Sand, grind or scrape all paint and
undercoating from the body and screw the
ground securely in place. It is advisable to test
the ground with an ohmmeter between the
ground cable and the negative battery cable to
ensure a good low resistance connection. Some
alloys used in some modern cars do not offer
the best ground.
5. Run the speaker wire to the speakers. it is
advised that you leave some extra wire at this
point! You can clean it up later.
6. If you haven't already done so, mount the
amp now.
7. Connect the power and ground to the
amplifier (only after this step should you install
the fuse to the positive battery terminal and the
negative battery terminal cable to its correct
terminal.)
8. Connect the remote wire from the head unit
to the amplifier. Now is a good time to turn on
the amplifier for the first time and make sure it
turns on properly and does not go into
protection.
9. Connect the speaker wires to the amp and
speakers (make sure the amp is off first) make
sure the polarity (+ and -) are correct.
INSTALACIÓN
1. Antes de comenzar, desconecte el cable negativo de
la batería del automóvil. Pegue el extremo con cinta
adhesiva para que quede aislado de la batería.
2. Tienda un cable de calibre adecuado desde la batería
hasta el amplificador. Planifique esta parte de la
instalación con cuidado. Este cable transportará una
corriente muy alta, si se produce un cortocircuito con
el cuerpo y no está correctamente protegido con
fusible, podría incendiarse.
3. Conecte el cable de alimentación a la batería usando
un fusible capaz de manejar la carga de corriente total
de todos los amplificadores conectados. No instale el
fusible en este punto. Espere hasta que se le indique.
Coloque el fusible lo más cerca posible de la batería. Si
la distancia desde la batería excede las 18 pulgadas
(longitud del cable), es recomendable volver a evaluar
la ubicación tanto del cable como del fusible.
4. Encuentre un área de metal limpia más cercana al
amplificador como tierra. Lije toda la pintura y la capa
base del área de metal y atornille la tierra de forma
segura en su lugar. Es recomendable probar la tierra
con un ohmímetro entre el cable de tierra y el cable
negativo de la batería para asegurar una buena
conexión de baja resistencia. Algunos paneles
utilizados en automóviles modernos no ofrecen la
mejor conectividad a tierra. Si cree que este es el caso,
busque otro mejor lugar que tenga contacto directo
con la tierra de la cabina.
5. Pase el cable del altavoz hasta los altavoces. Se
recomienda que deje un poco de cable adicional en
este punto. Puedes arreglarlo más tarde.
6. Si aún no lo ha hecho, monte el amplificador ahora.
7. Conecte la alimentación y la tierra al amplificador.
(sólo después de este paso debes instalar el fusible al
terminal positivo de la batería y el cable del terminal
negativo de la batería a su terminal correcto).
8. Conecte el cable remoto de la unidad principal al
amplificador. Ahora es un buen momento para
encender el amplificador por primera vez. Asegúrese
de que se encienda correctamente y no entre en modo
de protección.
9. Conecte los cables de los altavoces al amplificador y
los altavoces (asegúrese de que el amplificador esté
apagado primero). Asegúrese de que la polaridad (+) y
(-) sea correcta.
