The power lines must be laid to prevent any possible damage.
Ensure that the electrical connection is protected against the risk of
water penetration in connectors. Only use connectors and couplings
equipped with spray guards.
Never use inadequate or makeshift electrical lines or cables without
earthing; if in doubt consult a specialised technician.
Repairs to the electrical installation must be performed exclusively by
specialised personnel Disconnect the machine from the power supply
before performing maintenance or repairs.
This machine was designed to provide the best performance and the
highest degree of safety: however, it is up to the operator to ensure this
safety, by taking due care during all work phases. The following are
recommended:
IMER INTERNATIONAL S.p.A.
C 350 iPower
The C 350 iPower has been constructed taking into account current
harmonised European safety standards.
According to the "machinery directive" 2006/42/EEC, all safety devices
have been installed with the aim of safeguarding the operator.
and protections that prevent access to moving or dangerous parts. All
envisaged to protect the operator (maintenance engineers, technicians
and others) from possible accidents cause by electrical discharge or
moving mechanical parts.
way is strictly prohibited.
The machine must be placed on a smooth surface that is at least as
large as its frame, or supported on its legs.
When moving the machine in the workplace make sure to lock
the carriage by tightening the knob (Fig.4, Ref.A) at the hole
located under the aluminium section. The head can be locked in
another place, or at a second hole which is located in the position
(Fig.4,Ref.B)
Lift the machine by the handles machined into the frame (Fig.1, Ref.I)
after having shut off its power supply.
Before opening the legs, lock the carriage with the handwheel
(Fig.4, Ref.A) on the opposite side to which the machine is raised, in
order to lighten lifting.
To open the legs: raise the machine at the back (Fig.6,Ref.1) and follow
the steps in points 2-3 and 4, then put the machine down. Then, before
opening the other legs, remember to move the head and lock it on the
opposite side to which the machine is raised, in order to lighten lifting, lift
the machine at the front and carry out the same procedure for opening
the rear legs. To close the legs proceed in reverse order.
The C 350 iPower saw weighs 113 kg and can be transported ma-
nually by means of the handles obtained in the frame, lifting it on one
side only and moving it with the aid of the wheels (Fig.5,Ref.A) or, al-
ternatively, using a lifting device, hooking it with ropes at the special
places indicated (Fig.5). The wheels facilitate operations for loading the
machine on a vehicle using a platform.
The power supply line must be equipped with current overload protection
(e.g. thermal cutout) and protection against indirect contact (e.g. residual
system. The size of the power cable wires must be based on operating
current and length of the power line to prevent excessive voltage drops
(table 4 Page 4).
