Charging
Do not expose the battery to
extreme conditions such as
heat and shocks. There is a risk of
injury caused by leaking electrolyte
solution! In case of contact with
eyes or skin, rinse the affected sites
with water or a neutralising agent
and seek medical attention.
The battery must only be
charged up in dry areas. The
external surface of the battery
must be clean and dry before be-
ing connected to the charger. There
is a risk of personal injuries from
an electric shock.
Only charge batteries of the
X 20 V Team series from PARKSIDE
with a charger of the X 20 V Team
series from PARKSIDE.
• Charge the battery before using it for
the first time.
• Always comply with the latest safety
information, as well as the regulations
and information relating to environmen-
tal protection.
Charging the battery
If warm, allow the battery to cool
before charging. Charge the battery
(19) when only the red LED on the charge
level indicator (17) is illuminated.
1. If necessary, remove the battery (19)
from the device.
2. Slide the batteries (19) into the charg-
ing slot of an X 20 V Team charger
(20) from Parkside.
3. Plug the charger into an outlet.
4. Once charging is complete, disconnect
the charger (20) from the mains power
supply.
5. Remove the battery (19) from the
charger.
Overview of the LED indicators on
the charger:
Green LED illuminated while battery not
inserted: Charger is ready.
Green LED lights up: Battery is charged.
Red LED lights up: Battery charging.
Red LED flashes: Overheated
Red and green LED flash: Battery defective
Operation
The device can either be connected to
the mains power supply or operated with
X 20 V TEAM batteries.
Do not look into the light
source.
Connecting the mains power
supply
Only operate the light with
mains power with the en-
closed power adapter
PCP-009.
1. Plug the power adapter (14) into the
socket.
2. Insert the plug (15) into the power con-
nection (4) on the device.
Removing/inserting the
battery
1. To insert the battery (19), push the bat-
tery along the guide on the back of the
device. You will hear it click into place.
