To begin configuring the STB-040 start the web browser and enter the following address:
• http: //x.x.x.x
(Where x.x.x.x is the IP of the STB)
The homepage ALCAD STB-040 will appear on the screen. It may be that Web access is protected by username
and password so that once the default password has been changed; the system can only be accessed by users
that have been provided the password. The default credentials are:
User: alcad
Password: alcad

INTRODUCTION TO THE STB-040 WEB INTERFACE
Configuring the STB-040 is done through a web-page graphical interface and menu system, as explained pre-
viously. Within this menu you can move through the different configuration screens to reach all the settings of
the module.
The navigation between different screens is very simple and intuitive. Now we will give an explanation of how
to access each of the configuration screens.
From any of the configuration screens we will see a box with 8 menus on the top left (Fig. 12).
