INSTALLING AND REMOVING NEEDLES CONTINUED
TO REMOVE NEEDLE
1.
Slide needle guard over needle.
2. Put needle lock lever in unlocked position.
(See Figure 2)
3. Slide the needle out of the tool.
4. Dispose of needle in a Biohazard Sharps container.
NOTE: For contaminated needles, see safety
instructions on page 1.
TO LOAD FASTENERS
1.
Pinch latch and slide cover off spindle. (See Figure 3)

2. Slide on roll of fasteners. Flat ends of the fasteners
should face outward. (See Figure 4)

3. Replace cover. Align latch with notched groove
on spindle. Slide down until latch snaps over notch
closest to the roll. Remove retainer from roll.

4. Slide fasteners into track and catch first fastener in
first slot of feed wheel. (See Figure 6)
5. Squeeze trigger twice. Begin attaching. (See Figure 7)

TO ATTACH FASTENERS
1.
Insert needle through hole in tag.
2. Insert needle through garment.
3. Hold material firmly against front of tool and
squeeze trigger.
4. Release trigger.
5. Withdraw needle and tool from garment.
TO REMOVE A PARTIALLY USED CLIP
1.
Fully depress trigger and turn the feed wheel
counterclockwise.
2. Pinch latch and slide cover off spindle.
3. Pull the fasteners out.
NOTE: Always depress the trigger when
removing a clip of fasteners from the tool.
Failure to do so may cause the tool to jam.
