LK6721** Down Light Kit Installation Instructions
NOTE: Ceiling fan light kits are only meant to be used with Spitfire™ ceiling fans. Do NOT install as a light fixture.
NOTE: Installation shall be in accordance with the National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70-1999 and local codes.

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, or injury to persons, unplug or disconnect the appliance from the power
supply before cleaning, user maintenance and servicing.
CAUTION
Turning off wall switch is not sufficient. To reduce the
risk of fire and electrical shock, be sure electricity is
turned off at the main fuse box to the fan before installing
the light kit.
Trim Cover
1. Remove the trim cover from the blade
plate assembly.

4. Disassemble the light screw cover
assembly from the LED assembly by
twisting in a counterclockwise direction.
7. Connect the 2 pin connector from the
LED assembly to the 2 pin connector
from motor assembly. Assemble the LED
assembly to the light plate assembly using
the key slot and replace the previously
removed screw. Securely tighten the two
screws.
To avoid possible fire or shock, make sure that the electrical wires are completely inside the fan
housing and not pinched between the switch cup housing and the switch cup flange.

2. Remove the lower-blade plate from the
blade plate assembly by remove the
screws and washers. Retain the screws
and washers for later.
LED Assembly
5. Disassemble the LED assembly from the
light plate assembly by removing one of the
two screws and loosening the other screws.
Retain the screw for Step 7.

8. Assemble the light screw cover assembly
to LED assembly by twisting in a clockwise
direction.

CAUTION
3. Remove the light wire cap form the motor
assembly by remove one of the three screws
and loosen the remaining two screws.
Retain the screw for Step 6.

6. Assemble the light plate assembly to the
motor using the two key slots and replace
the third screw and securely tighten all
three screws.
CAUTION
The light source is designed for this
specific application and can overheat
if serviced by untrained personnel. If
any servicing is required, the product
should be returned to an authorized
service facility for examination or
repair.
