Pre-installation Guidelines
•
Tents are intended as temporary shelter.
•
The person who erects the tent is responsible for its correct anchoring and therefore for its safety. Check the anchoring of the tent to
the ground regularly to ensure the safety of the tent, to prevent damage to the tent and to protect other users. The most common type of
damage is often the result of poor anchoring.
•
In the event of severe weather conditions, keep an eye on the weather forecasts and provide temporary extra anchoring for the tent or
dismantle the tent. In the event of stormy weather, you must take down the tent to prevent permanent damage.
•
Provide extra anchoring in gusts of over 60 km/h. Take the tent down in the event of gusts of over 80 km/h.
•
The table below is based on wind studies and can provide grip for the anchoring of folding tents. It shows the minimum weight per leg for

In the event of snowfall, you must regularly remove the snow from the tent canvas. This also applies to heavy rainfall and loading of the tent
canvas with other materials. If you cannot free the canvas from snow accumulation you must store the tent dry. In the event of snowfall, you
can also heat the tent to 2 degrees so that the snow melts and the tent canvas flows.
•
When the tent is left standing for long periods (especially at night), condensation can form. This condensation can run along the seams and
form droplets, so it looks like the tent is not watertight.
•
Never stow the tent when it is wet or damp, otherwise mould may form.
•
Always transport the folding tent upright if possible.
•
Do not place anything on top of the folding tent during transport and secure the tent properly.
DAMAGE CAUSED DUE TO THE FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES IS NOT COVERED BY THE
GUARANTEE. ANY DAMAGE TO THE TENT OR ITS COMPONENTS MUST BE REPORTED IN WRITING NO
LATER THAN 5 DAYS OF RECEIPT OF THE GOODS VIA CUSTOMER.SERVICE@ABND.COM .
