3 - Image analysis operation
To obtain an optimum analysis of motion in its field of vision,
position the camera at a sufficient height and distance from the
zone to monitor.
Camera height
Recommended height : Between 2 and 4m.
Distance from the zone to monitor
Recommended fields of vision : Minimum: 2.5 m/Maximum: 30m (Tycam Guard).
Mini 2,50 m
Ensure that a person detected does not appear
too small nor too large in the image
External environments
Avoid environments with an excess of trees or puddles (mirror effect) that could interfere with
image analysis.

Choosing detection settings
Using the Tydom application, select the detection mode suited to the surveillance zone.
The camera processor uses artificial intelligence to classify objects that appear in the camera's
field of vision. This escalates suspicious events and de-escalates false detections.
Detection types:

- Human detection: The camera only detects humans.
- Vehicle detection: The camera only detects vehicles.
- Movement detection: The camera detects any movement.
Intrusion zones
Using the Tydom application, add intrusion zones to the image.
Any person entering the zone is detected.
You can add up to 4 intrusion zones, which you can edit and overlay.
For reliable detection,
make sure the surveillance zone is not at the
edge of the image.
Line crossing detection
This mode is recommended for external cameras.
Direct and position the camera at the recommended height to ensure reliable crossing
detection. Define a crossing line in the Tydom application, any person crossing this line is
detected..

using the Tydom application.
• When you finish configuring the camera, it is vital to run a detection test to ensure that
camera correctly analyses the scene to monitor and effectively detects movements.
