Fault:
You can yourself correct the following faults by checking on the possible causes:
• If the appliance is not working: Please check that
- the appliance is switched on
- the mains plug is plugged into the socket correctly,
- the fuse on the plug is working.
• If noises are too loud: Please check that
- the appliance is standing firmly on the floor,
- the operating refrigerating unit is the reason for vibrations in furniture or objects next to it.
Note that flow noises in the refrigeration circuit cannot be prevented.
If none of the aforementioned causes are present and you are unable to rectify
the defect yourself, please contact the Customer Services department.
Defrosting:
The cooling section defrosts automatically.
It the rear wall still freezes over, the appliance must be defrosted manually.
• To defrost, switch off the refrigerator. Disconnect the mains plug
• Remove the cooling products from the refrigerator and store in a cool place.
• Leave the appliance door open when defrosting. Mop up any condensed water
with a cloth and clean the refrigerator.
When defrosting, do not use any mechanical implements or other artificial aids
save for those recommended by the manufacturer.
Cleaning:
• Switch the refrigerator off before cleaning (pull out the mains plug).
• Clean the interior, fitments (drawers) and external panels with tepid water and a little
rinsing agent. Do not use any cleaning or chemical solvents containing sand or acid.
• Do not work with steam cleaning devices. Risk of damage/injury.
• Make sure that no cleaning water gets into the electrical parts or into the ventilation grate.
• The chiller with the heat exchanger (metal grate at the back of the refrigerator) should be
cleaned or dusted once a year.
• Clean the drain in the refrigerator with something thin (Q-tips and the like).
• The operating display may only be cleaned with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. Under no circum-
stances use cleaning agents, alcohol, etc. Non-compliance can lead to irreparable damage to
the display!
Battery:
• All rechargeable batteries wear out over time and have a limited life. The wear depends on
many factors such as charging cycles, temperature influence, use, etc. We therefore recommend
that the batteries be replaced by an authorised specialist company after 36 months at the latest.
Screensaver:
• Your device has a screensaver that starts after 2 minutes of inactive operation. As long as the
screensaver is active, all functions are o.k. and the temperature is within the setpoint range
(see also green LED). As soon as an error occurs, the screensaver automatically goes off.
Otherwise, the screensaver can of course also be deactivated by touching the display.
