Heating-up
We recommend that the waterbed is filled with hand-hot water (approx.
28°C). When you fill the waterbed with cold water, excessive amounts of air
bubbles and condensation water may build up. In addition to this, the heating
unit will take much longer to heat the water in your waterbed to the required
temperature.
If no hot water is available for filling the waterbed, the heating-up time will
be accordingly extended. The heating-up of the water in your waterbed
depends on the water volume and the ambient temperature and is on
average approx. 0.5° C to 1°C per hour.
Terms of guarantee
If the heating unit is defective, please contact your supplier/specialist dealer.
Our heating unit has a manufacturer warranty of 2 years, as from the date of
dispatch, covering manufacturing, constructional or material defects.
The heating unit must only be repaired and replaced by the manufacturer or
by repair companies, which are authorised and certified by the manufacturer.
The warranty only covers the exchange of the heating unit. Other damage
(including costs of replacement and consequential damage) is excluded from
this warranty.

Operation
Please keep in mind that you need two heating units in so-called DUAL and
double bladder waterbeds.
4 Position the ceramic heating unit in the base area of your waterbed with a
distance of approx. 30 cm — 50 cm to the foot, as centrally as possible
below the respective water bladder (in case of the DUAL system).
2. Please make sure that the cable of the heating unit is not pinched
between the base unit and the mattress base.

The heating unit is completely positioned below the safety tub of the
water bladder. Please make sure that no folding of the plastic film/the
vinyl takes place above the heating unit and that the surface remains
smooth.
E Please do never put blankets or sheets on the heating unit. Keep the
heating unit away from sharp or sharp-edged objects.
5. Use the regulating switch of the thermostat to set the required tempera
ture according to your personal preferences. The indicator lamp will flash
when the heating unit is heating up; it will go out automatically when the
desired temperature is reached.
6, Attach the regulating switch of the thermostat to the exterior of your
waterbed by means of the supplied Velcro tape for convenient reach.
