 Do not dry fiberglass articles in your dryer. Skin irritation could result from the remaining particles that may be
picked up by clothing during subsequent dryer uses.
 To minimize the possibility of electric shock, unplug the appliance from the power supply or disconnect the
appliance at the household distribution panel by removing the fuse or switching o the breaker before at-
tempting any maintenance or cleaning (except the removal and cleaning of the lint filter). Note: Turning the
knob to an off position or pressing start/pause DOES NOT disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
 The interior of the machine and the exhaust duct connection inside the dryer should be cleaned at least once
a year by a qualified technician. See the Loading and Using the Dryer section.
If yours is a gas dryer, it is equipped with an automatic electronic ignition and does not have a pilot light. Do
not attempt to light with a match. Burns may result from having your hand in the vicinity of the burner when
the automatic ignition turns on.
 You may wish to soften your laundered fabrics or reduce the static electricity in them by using a dryer-applied
fabric softener or an anti-static conditioner. We recommend you use either a fabric softener in the wash cycle,
according to the manufacturer's instructions for those products, or try a dryer product for which the manu-
facturer gives written assurance on the package that their product can be safely used in the dryer. Service or
performance problems caused by the use of these products are the responsibility of the manufacturers of
those products and are not covered under the warranty of this appliance.

rubber, latex, foam or similarly texture rubber-like materials.
Do not dry articles containing flammable materials such as cleaning fluids, waxes, solvents, gasoline, kero-
sene, etc. Dry water – washed fabrics only.
 Risk of fire. A clothes dryer produces combustible lint. The dryer must be connected to an exhaust to out-
doors. Regularly inspect the outdoor exhaust opening and remove any accumulation of lint at the opening
and surrounding area. (not applicable for appliances intended to be vented to the exterior of the building).
– Do not dry unwashed items in the tumble dryer.
– Items that have been soiled with substances such as cooking oil, acetone, alcohol, petrol; kerosene, spot
removers, turpentine, waxes and wax removers should be washed in hot water with an extra amount of
detergent before being dried in the tumble dryer.
– Items such as foam rubber (latex foam), shower caps, waterproof textiles, rubber backed articles and
clothes or pillows fitted with foam rubber pads should not be dried in the tumble dryer.
– Fabric softeners, or similar products, should be used as specified by the fabric softener instructions.
– The final part of a tumble dryer cycle occurs without heat (cool down cycle) to ensure that the items are left
at a temperature that ensures that the items will not be damaged.
– Remove all objects from pockets such as lighters and matches.
– Adequate ventilation has to be provided to the laundry center room to avoid the back flow of gases into the
room from appliances burning other fuels, including open fires.
The instructions shaft include the substance of the following warning:
WARNING. Never stop a tumble dryer before the end of the drying cycle unless all items are quickly re-
moved and spread out so that the heat is dissipated.
