OPERATION OF THE HEATER
Note: When the heater is turned on for the first time, or when it is turned on after a longer period of storage,
it is normal that the heater may emit some smell and fumes. This will disappear when the heater has been on
a short while.
Set the thermostat to the minimal position and insert the plug to the power supply.
⚫
Turn on the power switch: low heating = 750W; medium heating = 1250W, high heating = 2000W (Both
⚫
switches are on). When the power switch is on, the indicator light on the switch will illuminate.
Turn the thermostat knob in a clockwise direction to the max position.
⚫
Once the room temperature has reached the desired value, turn the thermostat knob slowly in
⚫
anti-clockwise direction until you hear a "click" sound; this is the setting temperature.
The appliance will automatically maintain the setting temperature. It will switch on when the room
⚫
temperature is below the setting, and switch off if it is above the setting.
Caution: The heater will remain hot for some time after it is turned off. Handle with care.
OVERHEAT PROTECTION
This heater is protected with an overheat protection that switches off the appliance automatically in case of
overheat, e.g. due to the total or partial obstruction of the grids. In this case, unplug the appliance, wait
about 30 minutes for it to cool and remove the object which is obstructing the grids. Then switch it back on
as described above. The appliance should operate normally. Should the problem persist, please contact the
nearest customer service.
