Filter Changes

The inlet filter is intended to filter or clean
the air. In doing this the filter will get dirty
and eventually blocked. The filter should be
changed before it's performance and that of
the CR60 deteriorates. The time span
between changes varies according to the
conditions the machines are used in. As a
general rule as soon as the filter discolours
from its normal white colour, it should be
changed.
If you notice that the machine is slowing
down, or it is taking longer to deliver the
prescribed solution, simply remove the filter
temporarily, and if the machine speeds up
again, it is an indication that a new filter
should now be fitted.
The filter is simply changed by unscrewing
the clear filter dome, removing the old filter
element and replacing with a new (Part
no.2153A). Insert the new filter element
into the filter holder on the machine and then
replace the dome. Dispose of the old filter.
Filter changes will be required more
frequently if the machine is used in a
household where the occupants smoke.
The bacteria filter requires replacing once it
starts to discolour (part no 1214). Dispose of
the old filter.
