Fully remove any stickers from the surface of the appliance.
Extract the container, grabbing the top part with one hand and the base of the
appliance with the other hand, lifting the top part with a decisive but gentle
movement, until the appliance assumes the shape shown in the image in the previous
chapter.
Place the appliance on a flat, stable surface, taking care to reserve 10 cm of space
on all sides, at the rear and above the appliance for the necessary air circulation.
Refer to chapter 2 for further details and instructions on appliance positioning and
installation.
Check that the selected voltage (10) corresponds to the voltage used in the
geographical region. Position the selector switch as shown in the figure for 220–240
Volt systems; for 110–120 Volt systems, turn the switch to the right until it clicks, using
a small slotted screwdriver.
Check that the front regulator is set to OFF.
Fill the container with 600 ml of water and a few slices of lemon. Alternatively,
squeeze half a lemon into the water.
Connect the electrical plug to a wall socket with a regular upstream earth leakage
circuit breaker.
Ensure that the cord does not come into contact with hot parts and that it is not
subjected to excessive bending or kinking.
Turn the regulator to MAX.
Wait for the water to boil.
Turn the regulator to OFF.
Handling the high-temperature appliance with caution, discard the liquid without
drinking it.
Boil 500 ml of water and lemon again, then discard the contents.
At the end of the procedure, check the general conditions of the appliance and
wait for it to cool down. Normal heating operations can now be carried out.
5.
USING THE APPLIANCE
Heating involves filling the container with water and waiting for the liquid to boil by
means of the heating element located under the base of the receptacle, adjusting the
temperature from the front regulator, using which it is possible to set the temperature
to be reached at the end of heating. The further right the regulator is turned, the
higher the temperature.
For best performance, consider the following:
