Suitable materials to use with the Light Table
Just simply spread out grainy material such as sand, grits, rice etc. onto the light panel and the fun with shapes and colours
can begin. Use your fingers, brushes or even spatulas as painting tools. Create silicate paintings by using a straw. You can
even look into your toy chest: dolls, stuffed animals or building blocks create small fantasy worlds. This encourages the nar-
rative pleasure of children. With natural materials such as shells, pine cones or leaves enchanting mandalas can be created.
For experiments with light and colour you can use transparent materials.
The increased edge helps you to keep all the material on the light panel. The Light Table can also be used as a night lamp
or for relaxing purposes.
Children should be supervised by an adult when playing with the Light Table.
