Body Fat Analyzer

Thank you for purchasing the HealthSmart Body Fat
Analyzer. The Body Fat Analyzer emits infrared rays into
human body (skin, fat and muscles), and estimates the
percentage of fat in organic tissue by analyzing the
absorption rate of infrared energy by the human body.
Operation Instructions
1. Remove cap. Press the ON/SCAN key to turn the device
on. When the LCD displays 0.0% it is ready to use.
2. Gently press the sensor against the skin surface.
Note: Do not let any light in between the sensor and the
skin.
3. Press the ON/SCAN key. The screen will display
"- - -" , meaning the measurement has started.
After 0.5 second, the screen will display the
results.
4. Press the "M" key to enter the memory mode. Continue
to press "M" to recall each memory recorded, "M1"
being the first and "M9" being the last.
5. If the unit is not being used for approximately 60
seconds it will automatically shut off.
6. If the battery voltage is below 2.4V± 0.2V, the device
may not give an accurate measurement. Replace the
batteries with new ones.
Cleaning Instructions
To clean the sensor wipe with rubbing alcohol (70%
isopropyl alcohol) or soap and water. Do not submerge
in any liquid. Wipe the unit with a dry cloth and allow to
air dry.
Caution
• When measuring, DO NOT let any light get between
the sensor and the skin surface.
• The results of the measurements is related to the
pressure. Try to apply the same pressure to every
measurement.
• The results of the measurements may not
represent actual body fat ratio, but rather an
estimation of relative body fat.
