Radio Operation
Searching for Stations
In radio mode, you can automatically search for the next station by briefly pressing the
button (10) or the
button (11). Manually search for
a station by pressing these buttons for a longer duration.
Saving Stations in Memory
To save a selected radio station in memory, press and hold one of the numbers 1 through 6 on the remote control. The chosen number will
then appear on the right side of the display, indicating that the station is stored in memory. Pressing the same number in radio mode will activate
this station again.
By pressing the [CH+] button (16) and [CH-] button (17) on the radio, you can go to the next or previous stored station. By pressing these
buttons for a longer duration, you can directly save the currently tuned station in memory.
The [BAND] button (9) switches the FM preset band from F1 to F3. In each band, you can store 6 preset stations, allowing a total of 18 stations
to be stored.
Press the [APS] button (15) to automatically save preset stations. In this mode, 6 stations will be programmed automatically in all 3 frequency
bands. Note: This will erase all previously saved stations!
RDS (Radio Data System)
AF, TA, and PTY are RDS functions.
The clock/time will be automatically set after some time by the RDS signal. Press the [TA/AF] button (14) briefly to toggle TA on/off. If you have
programmed stations with traffic information, the radio will automatically switch to this station when traffic information is broadcasted and return
automatically when the traffic information is finished. This also happens when playing music, for example, from a USB or SD card. Press and hold
the [TA/AF] button (14) to toggle AF on/off. When using AF, the radio (for RDS stations) will automatically search for the alternative frequency if you
go outside the coverage area of that frequency. Note: TA and AF require a radio station that supports this and will skip other stations during automatic
search. Press the [PTY] button (13) to toggle PTY on/off. By pressing and holding the [VOL] button (3), you open the RDS menu. Press it again
briefly to go to the next step. In this order, you can use the [VOL] knob (2) to enable or disable the AF and TA functions. The third option in this menu
is PTY (program type). By turning the [VOL] knob (2), you can change the genre, and the radio will automatically try to tune in to a station with this
indication.
Note: RDS may not be available in every country.
