OPERATION
10- Testing vehicle alternator
- Connect the signal cable to the mini USB port on the device.
- Connect the clamps by following the instructions in the manual.
- Turn on the device by setting the switch to ON.
- Start the vehicle.
- Press TEST to select the alternator test function
The LCD will display the alternator output voltage and status :
LOW : The charging voltage is low, it is possible that your alternator is tired.
CHARGE : The charging voltage is normal.
OVER : The charging voltage is high, it is possible that your controller is defective.
11- Charging the internal battery
IMPORTANT! LITHIUM BATTERY OF THIS UNIT IS SHIPPED PARTIALLY CHARGED.
BEFORE FIRST TIME USAGE AND AFTER EACH USE, FULLY RECHARGE THE DEVICE. IF
DEVICE IS NOT USED FOR MORE THAN 6 MONTHS, CHECK THE BATTERY LEVEL
AND CHARGE IF NECESSARY
- A USB charging cable and AC adapter are supplied with this unit. Use these accessories for
charging.
- For this unit, the required input is standard USB with minimum load 5V / 2A.
Under these conditions, a full charge takes approximately 5 hours ( a currency of 5V/1A or
5V / 500mA can also be used, however, the charge will take longer).
12- Storage instructions
IMPORTANT ! TO PROTECT THE UNIT FROM TEMPERATURE VARIATION AND SHOCK,
ALWAYS STORE THE UNIT IN PROTECTIVE BAG.
- Always keep the device in a dry place, away from moisture and out of reach of children.
- Charge the internal battery to full capacity after each use before storage.
- After each use and before storage, fully charge the battery of your booster.
ATTENTION ! Make sure the battery will never be deeply discharged!
