WARNINGS
Whenever clamps are used, ensure they do
not foul the router path and that they are securely
tightened.
In order to prevent breakout of the laminate,
rotation of the cutter and feed direction of the
router must always be into the postform edge of
worktop.
Ensure worktop is held securely to trestles.
Ensure jig is clamped securely to worktop and
placed at a comfortable height.
Release plunge on router at end of each cut.
Ensure working position is comfortable.
Keep proper footing at all times.
Support waste piece to avoid injury or
damage to equipment.

the front of the mason's mitre, ensure that the
router cutter rotates into the material.
• For a Left-Hand 90º Joint, the MALE will be cut with
material facing UP, and the FEMALE will be cut with the
material facing DOWN (Fig. 3a).
• For a Right-Hand 90º Joint, the MALE will be cut with
material facing DOWN, and the FEMALE will be cut
with the material facing UP (Fig. 3b).
• When cutting laminate face UP, ensure that the cutter
is set at 3mm depth for the first cut, and 6mm-8mm
(MAX) for subsequent cuts (Fig. 4a).
• When cutting laminate face DOWN, complete cuts at
6mm-8mm (MAX), and ensure the final cut is set at
3mm below the laminate material (Fig. 4b).

• Insert two pins into Female Inset Pin Holes "F35"
(Fig. F1).
• Insert one pin into 35mm Female Backset Pin Hole,
according to worktop width (Fig. F2).
• Align the pins to the edge of the worktop (Fig. F3).
• Clamp the jig to the worktop (Fig. F4).
• Complete roughing cuts. Ensure guide bush is pushed
against the outside edge of joint slot as indicated by
router direction arrow (Fig. F5).
• Complete finishing cut. Ensure guide bush is pushed
against the outside edge of joint slot as indicated by
router direction arrow (Fig. F6).
