set the receiver volume on the receiver using the volume control (6). the volume cannot be set to "0" to rule
out an unintentional failure to hear your baby.

additionally an alarm sounds. this indicates there is no or only poor radio connection between the
transmitter and the receiver. the alarm signal can be turned off using the switch (11.2) when temporary
interference triggers the range check function but reception is not permanently affected. it is advisable to
switch off the alarm signal especially during the night when other radio-operated baby phones or devices
can cause interference, because reception at close quarters (e.g. within the apartment) is still guaranteed.
15. EARPHONE SOCkET
You can connect a MOnO earphone (not included) to this socket (12). this switches off the loudspeaker.
16. ANTENNA
in close range (within the house) you can leave the antenna (13) retracted. this also reduces the risk of
interference from other radio devices. When you need maximum reception (e.g. at the neighbour's or in
the garden), extend the antenna.
