- 150 g of sugar
- 100 g of melted and cooled butter
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon of liquid vanilla
- 200 g flour
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
- 15 cl of milk
Preparation :
Beat the egg and sugar in a container. Then add the melted butter, liquid vanilla, flour,
-
yeast, salt and, finally, the milk.
- Mix well to obtain an even and firm consistency.
- Leave to rest for at least 30 minutes.
Cooking :
- Add a little oil to the plates so that the wafers do not stick together and heat up the appliance.
- Once the appliance is hot, form two balls with a teaspoon and place a ball on each
part of the lower plate. Close the appliance and wait for approximately 2 to 3 minutes.
WAFERS FILLED WITH VANILLA
48 wafers (approximately)
Ingredients :
For the wafers
- 500 g flour
- 10 g of salt
- 30 g of sugar
- 15 g of baker's yeast
- 125 g of soft butter
- 4 eggs
- 25 cl of milk
For the filling
- 150 g of soft butter
- 150 g brown
- 1 teaspoon of liquid vanilla
Preparation :
For the wafers
- Mix the baking powder in warm milk.
- In a container: mix the flour, salt, sugar and dissolved yeast. Then add the eggs one by one,
followed by the softened butter.
- Knead the dough and leave to rest for 1 hour in a warm place.
For the filling
Mix the softened butter, the brown sugar and the liquid vanilla.
Cooking :
- Add a little oil to the plates so that the wafers do not stick together and heat up the appliance.
- Once the appliance is hot, make balls to the size of your choice and place a ball on each
part of the lower plate. Close the appliance and wait for approximately 3-4 minutes per pair of wafers.
- Once the wafers are ready and still warm, open them up in two and add the filling. Flatten them slightly and let
them cool down.
