BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME

Carefully unpack the Waffle Maker and remove all packaging and materials.
2.
Place the Waffle Maker on a dry, clean and flat surface. Keep the Waffle Maker
closed until use.
3.
Wipe outer surfaces with a slightly damp, soft cloth or sponge.
4.
CAUTION: Care must be taken to prevent water from running into the appliance.
NEVER IMMERSE ROTATING WAFFLE MAKER BODY IN WATER OR ANY
OTHER LIQUIDS.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
For the initial use, runs the unit to burn off the mounting residue, smoke and odor will
occur, but this is normal and will not affect the performance of the waffle maker.
WARNING: TO AVOID POSSIBLE FIRE HAZARD AND DAMAGE TO THE UNIT, THE
WAFFLE MAKER MUST BE USED WITH BOTH UPPER/LOWER PLATES INSTALLED
AT ALL TIMES.

Before first use: Spray the waffle cook plates with any non-stick cooking spray
containing no propellants, or use a heat-proof brush to spread any flavorless oil
evenly over the upper and lower cook plates. This will encourage even browning.

Make sure the Rotating Waffle Maker's lower plate is positioned flat and locked
into a stable position.
3.
Plug unit into a 120V 3-prong electrical outlet. The red POWER light and the
green READY light both will flash one time, and unit beeps twice, unit enter
STANDBY mode.

Turn the browning control dial to the desired setting, press POWER button
to preheat.
NOTE: The unit will visibly smoke and also remit odor as it continues to burn
down-off the factory sediments. This is normal all not affect and will not affect
the performance of the waffle maker.

Use MEDIUM setting when preparing a recipe for the first time, then adjust
according to preference.
Hint: Most waffles baked at the MEDIUM setting will produce a lighter to nicely
browned waffle, while waffles made at Dark setting, are darker and crispier.
Recipes will vary in cook time and brownness; batters with more sugar will brown
quicker. Thicker batters may require a longer cooking time. Note the perfect
temperature and time setting for each batter recipe for future use.

While preheating, prepare waffle batter.
7.
After approximately 15 to 20 minutes, when the unit is preheated, 2 audible
beeps will sound, and the green READY indicator light will illuminate.
8.
Use the lid handle to open the lid.
9.
Pour batter onto the lower cook plate so that the peak area is covered. Use a
spatula to spread the batter evenly in to the corners of the plate. Do not overfill;
batter will expand when cooked.
10. Lower the top cook plate to close the Rotating Waffle Maker and rotate unit 180°
to the bottom side. Press the START button. The green READY light will turn off
and the waffle maker starts baking.
NOTE: To cancel and/or readjust the waffle shade setting, press the START
button. This will cancel the bake cycle and the green START light will illuminate
again. Now the waffle maker will be in the ready mode.
