Models with IONIC function
The IONIC function facilitates gentle, easy
hair styling by preventing a static charge in
the hair. It uses the build-up of a negative
'ion-cloud' to prevent 'fl yaway' hair caused
by a positive charge.
The IONIC function is automatically enabled
during use, irrespective of the switch
settings.
Operation
Switch positions
The appliance is equipped with a 3-position
switch allowing for the following settings:
Functions:
0 = Off
1 = Half power
2 = Full power
For a cooler air-fl ow, press the cool-air
button 'cool' and slide it forward.
Removing and changing the attachments
∙ Always switch the appliance off
and allow it to cool down to room
temperature before changing or
removing any attachments.
∙ To remove any attachment, press and
hold the release button on the housing,
rotate the attachment anti-clockwise until
the dot mark is aligned with the arrow
symbol on the housing, and pull it off from
the front.
∙ To fi t any attachment, follow the same
steps in reverse order while applying only
light pressure, making sure the dot mark is
aligned with the arrow symbol. Lock the
attachment in place by turning it clockwise
until both arrow symbols are aligned.
∙ Without any attachment fi tted, the
appliance can be used as a hair dryer.
