2 Safety guidelines
Certain groups of people
This appliance may only be operated by children over the age of 8 and by
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities or a lack of experi-
ence and/or knowledge if they are supervised or have been instructed about the
safe use of the appliance and are aware of the risks associated with its use.
Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children without
supervision.
Children must not play with the appliance.
Keep children under the age of 8 away from the appliance and the USB cable
as long as the appliance is switched on or connected to the socket or cooling down.
The packaging material must not be used for playing. It presents a suffoca-
tion risk.
Power supply
The appliance is charged with electrical current. Thus, there is a risk of electric
shock.
Therefore:
Check the appliance for possible damage before use. Never operate a defective
appliance.
Never handle the USB cable with wet hands.
Never immerse the window cleaner or the USB cable in water or other liquids.
Make sure that the USB cable is not kinked or pinched or comes into con-
tact with sources of heat.
