Dampening and cleaning windows
CAUTION!
More heavily soiled areas or coarse dirt particles must first be soaked and pre-cleaned
with other cleaning utensils. Otherwise the window cleaner may become clogged.
1.
Turn spray nozzle to the desired position: spray jet or atomiser.
2.
Point spray jet at surface to be cleaned.
3.
Operate spray button several times to dampen the surface to be cleaned.
4.
Use the microfibre pad of the spray bottle to soak the surface to be cleaned.
5.
Switch on the window cleaner.
When the window cleaner is switched on, the blue light lights up.
6.
Sweep squeegee across the surface to be cleaned.
CAUTION!
Do not absorb any foam. Foam can enter into the appliance from the dirty water tank and
cause damage to the electronics.
7.
Wipe the squeegee lip with a dry cloth after each sweep.
8.
Switch off window cleaner.
The blue light goes out.
CAUTION!
Empty the dirty water tank when maximum level (MAX LINE) is reached and after each
use ("5 After cleaning windows" on page 26). Otherwise dirty water can enter the
window cleaner and cause damage to the electronics.
CAUTION!
Do not use the window cleaner on horizontal surfaces. In this case dirty water can enter
into the appliance from the dirty water tank and cause damage to the electronics.
NOTE:
A low battery charge level during operation is indicated by a flashing blue light.
