Important information Before first using your new helmet, please read carefully the follow- ing instructions and information. This helmet has been developed for use with bicycles, skateboards, in-liners, roller skates and similar types of product and has been manufactured using state-of-the-art technology. Nonetheless, despite the highest of safety standards injuries can occur in cases of serious accidents. In some cases, the impact may be so great that the helmet does not effectively protect the wearer from head injuries. Appropriate use This product has been manufactured for cyclists, skateboarders, in- liners, roller skaters, and users of similar products. It is not suitable for other kinds of sports or for motorcyclists. Technical data Date of manufacture (month/year): 02/2017 Safety instructions • T his helmet should not be used by children when climbing or during other activities if there is any risk of strangulation or hanging should the child become entangled with the helmet. • T he helmet must fit firmly and the chin strap must be tightly closed. • D o not push the helmet into the back of the neck since the forehead is then unprotected. • D o not wear any headgear underneath the helmet. • M ake sure that air circulation is not restricted. • N o modifications may be made to the helmet, its structure, or the individual components. • T he helmet may not be painted and/or have stickers or labels attached to it. • T he protective function of the helmet may be seriously impaired because of the effect of paint, stickers, cleaning liquids, or other solvents. - Página 6 • T he helmet is intended to protect the head in case of a collision. After just one single (even slight) impact this protection is no longer guaranteed. After an accident, the helmet must therefore be re- placed immediately even if it shows no visible damage. • S olvents or abrasives containing petroleum may never be used to clean the helmet, neither outside nor inside. Always use pH-neutral detergents diluted with clean water; rub carefully with a soft cloth. Then wipe dry with a lint-free cloth. The padding can be cleaned with a little soap and a soft brush. • U se only original replacement parts for your helmet. • T he service life of the product depends on how it is used. However, the product must be replaced at the latest five years after the date of manufacture (Version: 02/2017). - Página 7 Selecting helmet size • M easure the head circumference and select the helmet size accor- dingly. Try on several helmets before you decide. With the helmet on, ideally the skin should move at the temples. • M ake sure that the helmet does not move freely on the head even when the chin strap has not been tightened. • F or a secure fit, the chin strap must be tightly closed. It fits correctly when you find it difficult to slide your fingers under the chin strap. However, you must always still be able to breathe, swallow, and turn your head comfortably. • T he helmet fits correctly when it sits tightly but still comfortably on your head (fig. B). • I f the helmet is too big (wobbles, cannot be adjusted tightly enough) or too small (squeezes, leaves the forehead free), please select a helmet of the next largest or smallest size. • I f the helmet cannot be adjusted correctly, it may not be used. Adjusting the chin strap (fig. C) You can adjust the general length of the chin strap using the loop. You can also alter the length of the chin strap with the strap divider clip. Make sure, however, that the strap divider does not get in the way, that the straps do not cover your ears, and that the lock does not rest on your chin.
- Página 8 Adjusting the headband width (fig. D) Using the rotary control you can vary the adjustment of the helmet to fit your head size so as to guarantee optimal fit of the helmet. Rotate the wheel to the right to set the helmet headband tighter, and to the left to loosen the headband. Adjusting the headband height (fig. E) The height of the headband system can be set individually. There are 2 different height settings possible. Pull the connecting pin of the headband system out of the snap-in points on the EPS shell. You can now engage the pins of the headband system higher or lower in the remaining snap-in points. Press the pins into the points until they snap in audibly and perceptibly. Both pins must be engaged. Top piece assembly/disassembly (fig. F) Assembly should be performed by an adult! Assemble the top piece as follows: 1. Insert one half of the top piece peg (8a) into the ventilation hole (2). 2. Press the other half of the top piece peg into the ventilation hole in the same way and rotate the top piece at the same time with pressure on the helmet. Note: We recommend using a blunt pencil or something similar as a tool with which to press in the top piece.

Please be careful not to damage the product or hurt yourself! To remove, compress the top piece and pull it off the helmet. Care and maintenance Regular care and maintenance contribute towards helmet safety and conservation. • A lways use a pH-neutral detergent diluted with clean water; rub carefully with a soft cloth. Uso previsto Este producto está pensado para usarse en bicicletas, patinetas, patines en línea, patines sobre ruedas y dispositivos similares. No es adecuado para otras disciplinas deportivas ni para motociclistas. Datos técnicos Fecha de fabricación (mes/año): 02/2017 Indicaciones de seguridad • E ste casco no debe ser utilizado por niños mientras escalan o hacen otras actividades si existe riesgo de estrangulamiento, o de quedar atrapado o colgando en caso de enredarse con el casco. • E l casco debe quedar ajustado con fuerza y la mentonera, firmemente cerrada. • N o empuje el casco hacia la nuca ya que, de esta manera, la frente quedará desprotegida. • N o use sombrero, gorro o similares debajo del casco. • A segúrese de que el aire circule sin limitaciones. • N o se deben hacer modificaciones en el casco, en su estructura ni en los componentes individuales. • E l casco no debe pintarse ni cubrirse con pegatinas o etiquetas. • E l efecto protector del casco puede verse gravemente afectado por la acción de pinturas, adhesivos, líquidos de limpieza u otros disolventes. -

• E l casco está diseñado para proteger la cabeza en caso de colisión. Después de un solo impacto (aunque sea leve), tal pro- tección ya no está garantizada. Es por ello que, después de un accidente, el casco debe reemplazarse inmediatamente, incluso si no tiene daños visibles. • P ara limpiar el casco, ya sea desde fuera o desde dentro, no deben utilizarse disolventes ni abrasivos que contengan petróleo. Utilice siempre un detergente con pH neutro, diluido en agua limpia; frote suavemente con un paño suave. Después, seque con un paño sin pelusa. El acolchado se puede limpiar con un poco de jabón y un cepillo suave. • U se solo piezas de repuesto originales para su casco. • L a vida útil del producto depende de su uso. Sin embargo, el producto debe reemplazarse a más tardar cinco años después de la fecha de fabricación (versión: 02/2017). El forro interior del casco contiene un activo biocida (PURE TF by HeiQ ) con efecto antibacteriano. Principio activo: la plata se absor- ® be en dióxido de silicio (nano). Selección del tamaño del casco • M ida la circunferencia de la cabeza y seleccione el tamaño del casco en función de esta medida. Pruebe varios cascos antes de tomar la decisión. Con el casco puesto, idealmente la piel debería moverse en la zona de las sienes. • A segúrese de que el casco no se mueva libremente, incluso si la mentonera no está ajustada. • L a mentonera debe estar firmemente cerrada para un ajuste seguro. Queda colocada correctamente cuando es difícil deslizar un dedo por debajo de ella. Sin embargo, aun así debe poder respirar, tragar y girar la cabeza con comodidad. • E l casco está colocado correctamente cuando queda ajustado pero todavía se siente cómodo en la cabeza (figura B). • S i el casco es demasiado grande (tambalea, no puede ajustarse lo suficiente) o demasiado pequeño (aprieta, deja la frente al descubierto), debe seleccionar un casco del siguiente tamaño más grande o más pequeño. • E l caso no se debe utilizar si no es posible ajustarlo correctamente. Ajuste de la mentonera (figura C) La longitud total de la mentonera se puede ajustar mediante el lazo. También puede cambiarse la longitud de la mentonera con el distribuidor de correa. Sin embargo, debe asegurarse de que el distribuidor de correa no le moleste, que las correas no cubran las orejas y que el cierre no se apoye en el mentón. Ajuste del ancho de la banda de cabeza (figura D) El control giratorio permite variar el ajuste del casco en función del tamaño de la cabeza con el fin de garantizar un ajuste óptimo del casco. Gire la rueda hacia la derecha para apretar más la banda de cabeza del casco, y gire la rueda hacia la izquierda para aflojar la banda de cabeza. Ajuste de la altura de la banda de cabeza (figura E) La altura del sistema de banda de cabeza se puede ajustar individu- almente. Hay 2 alturas posibles. Montaje/desmontaje de la pieza sobrepu- esta (figura F) ¡El montaje lo debe realizar un adulto! Monte la pieza sobrepuesta del siguiente modo: 1. Inserte una mitad del tapón de la pieza sobrepuesta (8a) en el orificio de ventilación (2). 2. Empuje la otra mitad del tapón en el orificio de ventilación del mismo modo mientras gira la pieza sobrepuesta con presión en el casco. Nota: Se recomienda el uso de un lápiz no puntiagudo o un objeto similar como herramienta para introducir la pieza sobrepuesta. ¡Por favor, tenga cuidado de no dañar el producto o lastimarse! Para retirar la pieza sobrepuesta, apriétela y extráigala del casco. -

Acolchado interior • L avar a mano con agua fría 86°F (30 °C). • N o usar blanqueador • S ecar colgado • N o planchar • N o lavar en seco • D ejar secar a temperatura ambiente. Almacenamiento Cuando no lo use, almacene el casco a temperatura ambiente en un lugar seco y bien ventilado. Evite las fuentes de calor. Eliminación Elimine el artículo y el material de embalaje de acuerdo con las regulaciones locales vigentes. No deje el material de embalaje, como bolsas de aluminio, en manos de los niños.
