General Guidelines

• Refer to the Velleman
• All modifications of the device are forbidden for safety reasons. Damage caused by user
modifications to the device is not covered by the warranty.
• Only use the device for its intended purpose. Using the device in an unauthorised way will
void the warranty.
• Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual is not covered by the
warranty and the dealer will not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or problems.
• Nor Velleman nv nor its dealers can be held responsible for any damage (extraordinary,
incidental or indirect) – of any nature (financial, physical...) arising from the possession,
use or failure of this product.
• Keep this manual for future reference.

5. Assembly
Before First Use
1. Unpack the appliance and all other parts with care. Keep the original packaging in a safe
place. If the packaging is to be disposed of, do so according to the local environmental
rules.
Keep plastic wrapping out of the reach of children as this can present a suffocation hazard.
2. Unwind the power cord to its full length and inspect it for damage. Do not use the
appliance if the appliance or its cord have been damaged or are not working properly. In
case of damage, contact your dealer.
Assembling the Fan
1. Insert the telescopic pole [a] through the cover [b] into the base [f]. Secure the pole with
the four bolts [c], the four washers [d] and the four nuts [e]. Then, place the base and
pole upright.
