On/Off/Speed Selection
Pull the chain [a] located at the back of the motor housing chain repeatedly to set the fan
speed:
Oscillation
1. Push down the oscillation knob [b] to start oscillation.
2. To stop oscillation, pull up the oscillation knob when the fan is pointing in the desired
direction.
Adjusting the Fan Head
1. To adjust the angle of the fan head, loosen the tilt adjustment knob [c] underneath the fan
motor.
2. Adjust the fan head to the desired angle, then retighten the knob to secure it at that angle.
Adjusting the Mist Output
1. After having switched-on the fan, open the water tap and then the misting hose valve.
2. Either turn this valve somewhat to the on/off position or reduce the fan speed.

Care and Maintenance

• Before cleaning, maintenance, disassembling or moving the appliance, switch off the
appliance and unplug it from the electrical outlet.
• The appliance is protected against water spays. However, do not immerse the appliance, or
its cord and plug, in water or other liquids.
• Never use petrol, solvents, harsh detergents, or abrasive or alkaline cleaners on the
appliance.
Regular Cleaning
• To remove any dust that may have accumulated inside or on the appliance, clean it
periodically by lightly running a vacuum cleaner nozzle (soft brush) over the front and rear
grilles. Alternatively, use a soft, dry cloth for dusting. Disassembly should not be necessary
for regular cleaning.
• Keep the vents clear. To ensure adequate air circulation to the motor, keep the vents at
the rear of the motor housing clear of dust, fluff, etc.
• To clean stubborn stains, use a slightly soft cloth moistened with a mild soap solution. Be
sure the cloth is not too wet.
